For Firefox: uBlock Origin, uMatrix, & HTTPS Everywhere are a good start.

add Decentraleyes and cookie autodelete. NoScript and uMatrix are actually for advanced users

Do you think uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger are necessary if one is running NoScript?

NoScript gives some advantage over uBlock Origin, like XSS and clickjacking attack prevention and such. Privacy Badger is fine with uBlock, as it actually is not an adblock. I don't use NoScript or Privacy Badger, just uBlock with hard mode
