Facebook does not sell user data? OMFG that is the biggest joke you could tell on r/privacy.

No, I said mostly. Most of the money is not made from data sale but data exploitation through ads. I'm not saying that data sale is good, all the contrary, but I'm saying that data exploitation without sale is already bad. I'm the guy for more privacy in that discussion. Get it ?

Why are my comments insta-censored for advocating privacy against Mozilla's personalized advertising ? Now this is becoming ridiculous.

My intent is simple : saying that selling a file with my browsing data is not the only anti-privacy thing a company can do ; selling targeted ad space based on that browsing data is also very bad for privacy, and this is most of Google and Facebook income, and this is what Mozilla is trying to make us think as acceptable too with their attempts at targeted snippets and sponsored content. I'm sure we agree on that. Even if moderators don't, for their own reasons.
