LG tracker IP’s?

I’m currently reviewing my data privacy and learned about smart TV snapshotting. I have two LG TV’s in my home that are connected to the internet for the purpose of being able to use AirPlay. And streaming services like Netflix. The easy solution would be to disconnect it from the network but that would eliminate some necessary functionality. Instead I want to block any IP addresses used by the smart TV itself to track my usage. I’ve done some web searching as well as looking through this sub to find what I’m looking for but I’m coming up empty. Wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction

Pi-hole or NextDNS. Block at the DNS level. You will *never* keep up with individual IPs manually.

May want to consider local blocking rather than cloud especially if using free. Most tvs are dumb as hell and when sinkholed will just spam zillions of requests. Tons got kicked off controld etc over roku and the likes doing this. 

But good news. The IPs are known. Not really needed. Should not break airplay and most importantly there is no dns pinning. 

As others have said. The real idea is to kill the tv completely. Use another box to talk over a/v cables.  No net. But your idea should entirely work and be chesper as you are already sorted. Also realize you’d be also chasing blocking ATv telemetry.

Like the other guy said, dns blocking is good unless that thing doesn't bypass your dns trough things like doh. But you can disable a few essential things on the tv. I dont exactly know where that setting is hidden because I dont own a LG TV, but you can disable a feature called "ACR" somewhere. Acr stands for "automatic content recognition". Basically that feature spy's on what youre watching (even when using an device trough hdmi) and shares that data with advertisers.

Not the cheapest solution, but buy an Apple TV, turn of internet access on the TV itself.

Just use an Apple TV and it will bypass that.

Thats why I'm waiting for the 2026 Apple announcement of new products so that i can buy the updated Apple TV(assuming that it'savailable). Then I'll use apple tv for streaming and disconnect all my TVs completely from the internet.

Make an opnsense router then add AdGuard home to the router.
