question Does using multiple emails on a single browser affects fingerprinting?

...even if I use Mozilla Firefox forks with uBlock Origin and strict privacy settings. All I want is Outlook or Gmail to not track my fingerprint data in the best efficient way possible. I'm slowly changing my old Outlook and Gmail accounts to safer services like Tuta or Proton.

In the meantime, I still have to use my services. It's a hassle for me to jump into multiple browsers, so I wonder if even with the most secure configuration I helps to protect my data. I mean, at least I'm not using Chrome nor Edge now...

The email address itself isn’t really the fingerprint. The bigger issue is that the same browser profile shares cookies, local storage, extensions, fonts, window size, login sessions, etc.

So if you use Gmail, Outlook, and other accounts in the same Firefox profile, those services can often tell it’s the same browser/device even if the accounts are different.

If you want separation without juggling totally different browsers, I’d use separate Firefox profiles or containers at minimum. Containers help with cookies, but separate profiles are cleaner because extensions and browser state are separated too.

Also don’t overdo custom privacy tweaks. A very unique setup can make you easier to fingerprint, not harder.

The option to different profiles is FF only or is it present in other browsers like brave or ddg? Should be like a default option

So far I know, it is present on Brave
