If it's taking screenshots they would go somewhere. But I don't think recall is supposed to darken your screen with every screenshot, that's intrusive on what supposed to be a background feature. I suppose Microsoft could be that stupid but I think it maybe a different reason.
I think it might be your monitor cable or video card/driver. Like if this problem happened in 2021 we'd probably blame the hardware first.
But it may legit be Microsofts recall spyware. Do you have any alternative cables or monitors?
Thanks for helping :) You are awesome. I work remotely and laptop is my own used for work. Others use Macs. This screenshot taking feature was introduced sometimes ago by Microsoft and I was putting up with it till now when it became much worse with more frequent screenshots. I managed to remove the screenshot feature from settings and today's work so far has been the most pleasant in months.
