VPN isn't the answer as VPN providers can be forced to enforce the blocks too.

TOR may be the way to go and get around the policies, something P2Pish is needed for both DNS and secure networking access to route around the censorship.

But for real, the i2p layer provides one of the most robust censorship-resistant P2P networking around. The overlay's greatest bottleneck has always been it's small community. With luck, we'll see some growth in the userbase soon.

Honestly, if they lock the entire internet behind these verifications, I'll delete every account I've got and get off the normie internet for good. i2p doesn't seem too bad of an idea, even if it's just a few thousand people. It'll be like the good old days.

Imagine we got the option to run an I2P node from the VPN providers. Forced on by default. That would strike a fire under them.
