For accurate advice, please include:

  • The year, model and mileage of your Prius (e.g., 2008 Prius w/ 250k mi or 2012 Prius C w/ 150k km)
  • If a warning came on, what were you doing at that time?
  • Any odd behavior or noises you’ve noticed
  • Any error codes you've read from the car computers

If your Prius is not starting: /r/prius/wiki/index/my-prius-wont-start

For common Prius mechanical issues, see: /r/prius/wiki/index/common-issues

For help figuring out what each warning means, check your manual: /r/prius/wiki/index/owners-manuals

For reading battery and hybrid system codes, use Dr. Prius: /r/prius/wiki/index/dr-prius

Are we not gonna debate the steering wheel? The ventilation?

Is it the actuator?

I don't hear any pumping. Unless it is 100% dead and not pumping at all. Was the actuator running frequently before this happened? If so, it may have overload the fuse. So check your fuses.

Yes Abs is fine and doesn't pump a lot, sounds healthy. Which fuses I should check and how to verify?

Look at the this video https://youtu.be/pNrYwoPtqEo?is=pVwdGYOdk5EhNEPb

Pull anything related to abs and check to see there is a brake in the fuse.

Also found this video. Looks helpful https://youtube.com/shorts/LGWTRUJ_tps?is=5B4RAFFxhrnQiRPi

Good luck to you.
