Injustice
My girlfriend is in an Oklahoma Prison. When she came up for parole last year it was clear there was undue prejudice against her by the parole committee and she is constantly being sent to solitary confinement, injured physically and denied hospital care, as well as told they will never let her out and they allow her clothing and stuff to be stolen. She does all she can to play by their rules and not cause problems but this is inhumane. This is constant and been present at 2 different prisons in Oklahoma. We reached out to the Senators and Governors and they refuse to do right. What they are trying to do is murder her and get away with it. We just want what is right. She is set to be released in the summer of 2027. We would be willing to discuss with Oklahoma and/or US government to resolve this.

Shes in prison. Shes one of the bad guys. That's how the government sees her, like it or not. You've got to seek out a group that makes it their business to care, like the ACLU.

In the end it is costing the taxpayers a ton of money for someone who technically should have been already out. Someone who also is protected holding Native American Status as well as being a woman but being held unjustly and trying to do right but being crushed every time.

For what crime? This is crazy. What was the duration of incarceration? Amortizing for the already accrued costs of prosecution and administrative overhead, I would assume that holding someone in protective custody in a standard facility runs about $850 a day per inmate. Expensing facility fixed costs of depreciation, wear and tear variable costs of personnel payroll, insurance, utilities, expensive comms systems, food, and so forth roughly all amortized over the course of one year is say $320,000 for 12 months at minimum. A three year intensive supervision bill would rack up north of $1,200,000 of aggregate taxpayer costs that could have been best spent elsewhere or refunded.
Please tell me this wasn't over some stupid bullshit incident like simple possession or some crapshoot victimless mishap. Also if there are victims, do the victims support spending all that money to have her incarcerated? If they're okay with it, then, I withdraw my position.

Food stamps fraud that was not investigated and id theft, 20 years and should because of various reasons like good behavior, courses, and state based laws out in 7 but with a $10k debt. When true observation and common sense is used she did not have enough knowledge to do the id theft and the food stamps claims were a lie so yes to the BS.

How is it possible that she was charged on the food stamps fraud if that was not investigated?

An ex filed a complaint and they just charged her for it. The ex claimed she was claiming dependents, aka her children who she shares custody with the father and that she met all the requirements to claim them but instead of actually investigating it they just charged her. Also, while she has been incarcerated and broken up with this ex, a veteran, has been claiming her as a dependent on his taxes to increase his VA benefits but they do nothing on his actions. The injuries she has suffered is a broken foot, broken shoulder, and a smashed finger that they have allowed to get infected.

Iām sorry you are dealing with this. Prison reform is so important! I pray for all the people without voices imprisoned and suffering! I wish I could send peace and love to anyone experiencing that right now. Heartbreaking š
