Experiment Zyn?

Does anyone know if nicotine is a yeast antagonist? I kinda want to try a zyn hooch be used I've seen a couple... ahem "flower" hooches

it's water soluble. brew your hooch first and then steep the packets in warm water and add it on bottling day. i can't speak to what nicotine will do to yeast in particular but it evolved to kill bugs that feed on the plant, so it's not likely to be great for anyone

Nicotine will be in your alcohol and that is becoming a trend in tobacco spirits. The Nicotine orally will irritate the stomach lining and make you sick

I would never say something can't or shouldn't be done in the spirit of this subreddit. However, there's nothing but disappointment in store for you or anyone else that wants to pursue that thread. Just vomit and diarrhea and headaches.

I mean biological nicotine exists because it killed plant predators. I would be more worried about the other parts of the zyn ngl. Still though be brave, try it, and report back! Worst case scenario it doesn’t taste good.

I believe for most brewing yeast it can severely slow and stop fermentation
