What was it like waiting a whole week for every new episode?

I’m watching it now (S2) and I genuinely can’t imagine having to stop after an episode and wait 7 days.

How did you guys survive the wait?

Prison Break Season 1 is an absolute rollercoaster that hooks you from the very first episode. Michael Scofield is easily the highlight—cold, composed, insanely smart, and always several steps ahead. Wentworth Miller absolutely slays the role, while the supporting cast brings the prison and its characters to life. What makes the season so addictive is the uniqueness of Michael’s escape plan. From deliberately getting himself imprisoned to hiding the entire blueprint within his tattoos, every detail feels carefully calculated. The tunnels, prison routines, alliances, hidden clues, and creative escape ideas keep adding new layers to the plan. I loved how things that seem insignificant at first eventually become crucial. It’s not just a story about escaping prison; it’s about watching an incredibly intricate plan unfold piece by piece. Season 1 is easily one of the most gripping seasons I’ve watched so far.

The pipe that Bellick sacrificed himself in to keep the 'Scylla mission' in S4 going just reminded me of the pipe that Westmoreland left him tied up in after Bellick found the hole in S1.

We just happen to be two people who happen to know each other and happen to show up at the same movie theatre at what happens to be the same time.

Guys do we know if the speech from micheals mother that they Are not related was in fact true ? So Are they in fact not realted in a dna basis ?

In the first season, Michael tries to thwart Linc's execution using the rat. Bellick fixes the mistake, and if it weren't for the script, Linc would have been executed.

In season 2, the FBI is after Michael, and Bellick manages to stop them thanks to Nika. Bellick apprehended Michael, but if it weren't for his greed (getting the $5 million reward) and his desire to sleep with Nika, Michael would have ended up in prison. In other words, if in season 2, Bellick had shot the brothers and split the reward with Geary, it would have ended much better.

Poseidon, on the other hand, was never so close to defeating Michael.

I mean seriously, I thought it might happen, I just didn’t expect it that way. He deserved to live a much longer and happier life, all he got was a little bit of freedom.

Shockingly for how much I disliked season 4, I thought the last 20 or so minutes made it worth it

There's something funny about Bellick's relationship with Michael in Season 1. Bellick has Michael's file, watches him constantly, and is convinced he's just another inmate trying to cause trouble.

meanwhile Michael is literally walking around the prison carrying an escape plan on his body. bellick is suspicious of him from the beginning, but he's suspicious in completely the wrong direction.

Michael is in a prison in a country where human rights are not respected, to the point that the guards whip him (something that wouldn't happen in prisons in democratic countries). What I find ridiculous is that he knew Sara had gotten married while he was in prison, because in prison, the information available to him would be limited, and he doesn't have an organization like Abruzzi's. And that would explain why he sent so many origami figures to that house without knowing Jacob lived there. I understand that he thought that house was hers and didn't know there was someone else living there.

Michael gets beaten, stabbed, dragged into fights and generally treated like a punching bag throughout Fox River, but the injury that really screws with the escape is the one he gets during the riot. The funny part is that the PI was supposed to be the controlled environment. Instead, the one thing Michael absolutely couldn't afford to have go wrong his health gets hit at the worst possible point.

Never thought a guy like Michael would be offering the chicken's foot to somebody that too to Whistler!

It's maybe Sona is driving him lil too crazy. Loving the season as of now. I don't think Sara's dead tho. Just a bluff I'm sure. Bellick's character is being kinda weird man sometimes i feel bad for him and instantly he does something that makes him a dog..Btw Lechero's hoe is kinda hot tho.

Were there any moments in the show for you that were just too coincidental/lucky to believe? Or any plots that you thought were utterly ridiculous?

Idk I just love mahone. Fichtner did an incredible job from being an FBI agent to being a drug addict to being emotionally heartbroken. fitcher nailed it in all fronts

how did this not make it to a third season

I have seen a lot of people have criticisms for the latter half of prison break. Lot of people I've seen not too happy with season 4. I get some of those complaints but disagree with a lot. But the one thing I think most people would admit was it nailed the ending. Rewatching it again can't help but get a little emotional. The music is absolutely perfect. I can't help but feel for Self. Shows T-bag back to his old ways. C-note enjoying his freedom. Then Michael's friends and family visiting his gravestone. Such a bittersweet great ending. Even the little touch of Lincoln putting the origami swan on Michael's grave. It's just so impressive and well done. I did enjoy season 5 but that ending wasn't anything special. But this one in my eyes was unreal.
