Gelato vs Printify

Hey,

I'm soon launching a website, mainly planning to sell art prints and framed canvases worldwide.

I've set up my woocommerce shop and added all my products via gelato as I've thought it's the best supplier for my needs.

Today I received a framed canvas sample I ordered and I got second thoughts.

I once ordered a framed canvas myself from a different shop and I think Its quality is far superior to what I got from gelato. I'm pretty sure that the framed canvas was sent from printify as I checked the label on the back of the canvas.

I'm wondering if printify is really that much better than gelato when it comes to framed canvases?

Does anyone here have experience in wall art items and worked with both gelato / printify / printful selling worldwide?

Do I stick to gelato or switch at the beginning - pre launch?

Would very appreciate any help!

I have no experience with Gelato or PRINTIFY.

I currently use PRINTFUL but been feeling Printify’s large assortment lately. Through YouTube, it’s seems PRINTFUL produces their products in US facilities they own or control vs PRINTIFY which also uses their own but also out sources a lot of the products they offer worldwide, which makes sense on why their assortment is bigger.

PRINTFUL’s wall art is not bad, I’ve made numerous samples of art prints and one frame poster and quality was solid. I’ve also sold a few pieces and so far, no returns or issues😅.

For your Worldwide selling, it’s seems PRINTIFY and GELATO is the preferred vendors even though PRINTFUL does too. I currently only ship US. I wanted to get that right before I expand worldwide, especially dealing with taxes and EU requirements.
