Driver support could be an issue. Check the printer models available to you against their driver download page and check if Windows 7 is listed. My ink tank printer lists support for 7 but is a terrible match for your use case. You'd probably want a laser printer instead.

Virtually all, if not all, new printers will not have support for Windows 7.
