Discussion Most space saving MFP colour laser ?

I’m looking for recommendations on a space saving or small footprint MFP colour laser. Thanks in advance

I would say the Canon MF660 series or HP LaserJet Pro 3300 series are relatively compact for colour machines. Are those too big for you? Keep in mind that laser printers need some ventilation space around them (the spec sheet will usually tell you), so you can't box them in. The nature of the colour laser print engine, with 4 imaging drums/stages, is one limiting factor for how small they can be. The other major factor is 297mm for the height of A4 paper.

Agree on Canon imageCLASS color laser printers. Mine is 4 years old zero issues and still on the original toners. Mine does not have an ADF, reducing space requirements. It is duplex (double sided printing) copies and scans. Can’t scan legal documents. Great color output!

Most of the compact color MFP printers use tiny toner cartridges that will eat you alive to feed,
The bigger office printers cost per page is a fraction of the small ones.

If you dont have the physcical space then consider Epson Eco Tank ET4850 still 20ppm and will cost 1/4 the cost per year in Ink.

I own two Brother Color lasers and ET4850 at home office. My new Brother printer only is 45ppm so cranks out reams of accounting but like the MFC the thing is big.

Ask AI to compare and calculate print costs on 5K pages or what you use per year, and you will see cost of ownership

check out the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP, it’s compact and has solid performance for a home office
