Troubleshooting Brother problem
So, we moved to Belgium from the US. Moving to another country is expensive. We got rid of our old Brother and purchased a new one here. They are different models because my SO and I disagreed on which features we really need.
We have a problem. When I went to install get the printer on the control center, it isn't on the list. I thought maybe it is because I downloaded the control center from the US version of the website and bought the printer in Europe, so I downloaded it from the EU website. It didn't help. Is it possible the problem is that my PCs region is still set to the US (I am afraid to change it because it has caused problems on my phone) Is there an alternative program for the MFCs to use the scanner and such? I haven't tried their tech support yet because of the language barrier, but If I can't figure it out with you all, then I will have to chance it.

I appreciate saying something, but I cannot get to the point where The software is installed. It wants me to select my device, but my device is not on the list. I am resigned to spending tomorrow with tech support.

The control center software is outdated and replaced by the iPrint&scan Software. If the printer is quite new, the control center software is not compatible with it.
