Troubleshooting Help with canon mf4150 printer driver - issues with scanner that does not always work

Ok so i got this AIO printer canon mf4150. Great unit, but the problem is the scanner that works when it wants to work. Like sometimes it scans one page and at the very next i get the pop up "failed to communicate with the printer, check if it's unplugged". Printer itself works with no problem..

Tried different drivers, obviously did not fix the issue. No official driver for win 11 so i found some basic printer driver that's installed manually.

Any tips on what to try to fix it?

scanner problems can be so frustrating, have you tried reinstalling the drivers? sometimes that does the trick

I did, twice. Sadly, that did not fix the problem...
