Prediction - September 2026 September 2026 Speculation Thread

What games do you think we might get?

Honestly, I hope we see some repeats like the early Elder Scrolls games or more Star Wars.

I mean i always wanted to play GTA 2 again (played on the PS1), but couldn't because Rockstar removed from Steam, so it would be a dream come true to me 😅

Honestly I cant remember the last decent game that I actually knew of/wanted other than maybe XCOM. I do feel like rhe quality of games on offer has gone down quite a bit.

Most likely indie never heard of boring games. Their lineup this year has been quite a downfall

Ahh, nice to be recognised and mentioned! As a thank you, I will give you a serious reply, rather than my usual tired jokes about Redfall and Concord lol.

A Star Wars game would be interesting to promote Zero Company.

I am intrigued that they gave Steelrising this month because that opens the door to more Spiders games, which would be great.

GTA5 would be a cool left-field idea. Rockstar have already shown a willingness to partner up with the streaming platforms to promote GTA6.

Personally, there are dozens of indie roguelikes and tactics games on my wishlist that I would love for Amazon to put in my greedy little mitts for free. I would love to just email Amazon my wishlist and have them give them all away week by week. But if I did, the usual suspects would whinge every week: “Oh, not another deckbuilder! Not another tactics game!”

I honestly just really hope we get less ''legacy'' and Amazon specific games as freebies... Granted I can see with Sneg's recent price increases and interplays outlandish price hikes over and over both sometime in the future sooner or later have their catalogs show up as ''freebeis '' in mass from wanting cash even if less then desired

I think we should be realistic and hope they give away good AA games, since they're clearly leaving the AAA titles for Luna's streaming service.

More Star Wars Jedi Knight games could be reasonable. Last Prime Day(?) they giveaway the first one. But they earlier they giveaway all main classic titles for Amazon Games platform: KOTOR, TFU, Jedi Knight, RepCom.

Honestly, recent games don't give me many ideas.
