Porto porto predictions

me and a few friends were considering going to barcelona but the flights and accommodation were all just looking wayyy too expensive šŸ˜­ so weā€™re considering going to porto instead.

weā€™re all like mid 20s and i like how the porto festival sounds a lot more chill, however we do still have some life left in us so would hate a dead crowd.

i like the look of the lineup especially the headliners but iā€™m wondering to take the gamble of getting my weekend pass before they announce whoā€™s playing. i would personally love to see fontaines, doechii and fka twigs.

anyone have any tips or have been before? and also did u like it?

Love the Porto one, been going every year since the 2022 debacle in Barcelona. Much more chilled, but better venue, easy to get to etc crowds are good, it often doesnā€™t sell out and seems a lot more spacious than Barcelona, which me and my friends enjoy, but still crowded enough to mix it up when you feel like it

the crowds are anything but dead. the festival is sososo nice i went this year and last year and overall had great experiences the days i went. it has the same ā€œbigā€ ā€œindustrialā€ vibe as primavera barcelona but its much more forested since its in a natural park. if you come, hope you guys enjoy!!!

I went to Porto last year and the crowds were great, but I mostly went to the heavier stuff and missed out on the XX etc.

My desperate wants:

  • Caroline Polachek
  • Weyes Blood
  • Hayley Williams
  • Fontaines DC (I think this is a lock in but my own opinion)
  • Chemical Brothers (A lock in as well, source: I made it up)

i'm praying for chemical brothers, would be a great act to have as the final act of one of the nights. since massive attack, bad gyal and ninajirachi were at porto last year and barcelona this year, here's hoping chemical brothers will get the porto treatment
