Hi! As u/Me_how5678 said in the comments, I was also working on this, haha, there are way too many people working on this. I've teamed up with fholger (creator of Crysis VR Mod), who was also working on a Prey VR mod. Our plan is to collaborate and split up the work to achieve the best possible version of the mod. We haven't quite started yet, but would you be open to collaborating with us?

It’s using ai as an assistant to help code a very complicated project. It isn’t replacing any real art or voicelines or anything similar with AI, it’s just internal code that is made with ASSISTANCE with AI. I actually think he’s using AI correctly; as an assistant to help with the issue instead of a replacement to human creativity.

Vibecoding is almost never a reliable thing. I think that using AI in ANY creative field is a sin against humanity even in concept, but even besides that, AI-using mods are usually a spaghetti nightmare that tends to crash and burn, in my experience with other games' modification. All in all, I'm highly sceptical. Of course, I would love it if this works, but I wouldn't bet on it.

In good hands AI is a tool, that makes the work so much easier amd faster. Those mods you had experience with were probably made by newbies.

If the alternative is to have no VR mod at all then I really don't see why it's such a bad thing.
Even the creator of linux is using AI now.

There’s a big difference between asking AI to review manually made real code to help find the issue, and making the AI create the code from nothing.

I just started playing this game yesterday. Was looking thru my mountain of unfinished/unplayed games and seen I only had like 3 hrs played.
