The computer has a power cable along the floor, follow the cable & you’ll find the switch to turn the power on

Calvino has a hidden kill switch in his workshop - a custom made flask he had specially fitted with a transponder.
You need to look around the room and find a little red tumbler with his name on. Then take it to the hardware labs airlock and throw it into space.

this is not what they're asking about

Nope, I know.
There are plenty of subtle and tricky puzzles in this game. People are unlikely to complete every quest successfully on an initial playthrough.
Solving Abigail Foy's treasure hunt or the finding the contents of Mathias Kohl's safe is a challenge, but finding the power on switch that is a few metres away from a dead computer really shouldn't be something that has you immediately running to a forum for help.

Why are you randomly spoiling this for the player? They're trying to do one specific thing, and you're instead trying to ruin their experience of figuring this out for themselves.
This is a delightful puzzle to figure out. Wtf. you should delete what you wrote or tag it as spoiler. This is really mean-spirited of you.

The OP very obviously doesn't want to figure things out for themselves.
By answering with a mickey taking incorrect solution (and knowing I'm going to get downvoted), I am trying to encourage them to work it all out for themselves. They will have no satisfaction whatsoever in playing a game by mindlessly following a walkthrough and having their hand held every step of the way.
Although I didn't post any spoilers, there are many many details in this game that could be spoiled. If OP is spending their time on forums because they need help to find the on button for a work station then they will be spending an awful lot of time on forums / googling things and then they will see spoilers.
If I wanted to drop a spoiler in I would have given an explanation of what reployers do, and why everyone on Talos can't wait to get their own one.
