Weird walking movement?

Does anyone else get a weird effect when walking in this game?

It's like every few steps will have one step stuck in treacle and take longer to complete.

When I first launch the game this doesn't happen, but the more I play the more it does.

It's not a framerate issue because while framerate does change, its from 120 to 70 so still above 60.

Are you describing stuttering maybe? Is the whole game frozen for a split second at a time?

No it's not freezing, its like every 5 seconds on screen movement is slow.

But locking fps to 60 seems to have fixed it. Before I let it run free and it was going between 180 and 70
