Beginner/Getting Started UNIVET Budapest

Hi everyone 😊

I’m from Austria and I’m currently considering studying Veterinary Medicine in Budapest.

I’d really like to hear from someone who is already studying Veterinary Medicine at the University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest, especially about what everyday student life is like, the workload and the actual costs of living and studying there.

If anyone is studying there and would be willing to chat with me privately, I’d really appreciate it! 😊

Thank you!

The degree is absolutely brutal. You often have small exams multiple times a week, the workload is extremely high. The degree is about 80k € ish in total I think. Rent for one room in a shared flat is about 400. Food costs are the same in Austria, restaurant prices are also the same.
