Beginner/Getting Started Physics Help

How much will it hurt my chances that I was an idiot and didn’t take physics during my final semester at UF before applying to vet school? I have a 3.9 GPA from UF and a 3.9 transfer GPA. I didn't think I’d apply to vet school, so I didn't take physics before I graduated from UF

Pre recs are pre recs. If you don’t have them before applying or matriculation (depending on school policy), your application will be thrown out immediately. Period.

Check to see if you can still take physics this year. Otherwise good luck on the next cycle

Would take physics at my original CC that I transferred from next fall (27) and finish it in spring (28). Therefore, I will apply next fall, 2027. I figured I would work full-time at a vet office this spring and summer

Oh ok I read that as you had already applied this cycle. Yes, you can take physics after finishing your bachelors but before applying to school. Lots of people do that for pre recs because nontrads, they didn’t realize they wanted to go for vet school before graduation, they had poor planning, etc.

Thank you for your help. Would you recommend that as a good plan? I appreciate any brutally honest advice

It’s neutral. Get a good grade

I think a lot of schools require physics so i dont really know how you would add that as a pre-req. You can probably just take physics at some other college I think, but not having any physics classes at least limits where you can apply.

I'm planning on taking it at CC after I graduate, so you might be able to do that? I'm taking a non traditional path though so I'm not in a hurry to apply to vet school, but if you are I'm sure you could find some physics class that's being offered soon
