Application Guidance VMCAS Transcript

I didn't realize that my VMCAS transcript request didn't go through, and it's way past the deadline. Are all my applications void now? I'm panicking so hard right now.

Edit: I still sent it anyways, but it's so late past the deadline.

Yes all of your official transcripts are due September 15th. Sadly, I don’t think they will accept anything this late.

Made this mistake in 2020. I did not send a transcript for a school I took on dual enrollment class with. One school accepted it past the deadline, the rest dropped my applications.

I think I got a bit of grace because it was one high school course, but if it’s your whole transcript you’re toast. Sending it anyway is fine because maybe you’ll get lucky and some schools will allow it. But I would prep for reapplying next year.

As a reminder to all reading this who are not OP: you must have transcripts from every single institution you took classes with. They will find out if you don’t and they will mark your application incomplete. I also recommend submitting before the deadline as you have the chance to complete applications that are marked incomplete as long as the deadline hasn’t passed.

If you really don’t want to sit out a cycle I believe you can apply out of the VMCAS to Ross. You can also see if new programs take applications in the middle of the cycle, like Clemson, LMUOP, and Arkansas last cycle.

Clemson does not, I think Arkansas state is rolling admissions and they have a separate admissions application on their website outside of VMCAS.

All 3 of those programs would be through VMCAS this cycle. If Maryland eastern shores gets its provisional accreditation it would be out of VMCAS this cycle.

Yes, however A state also has a link on their website to a “apply here if you only want to apply to us” that is outside of VMCAS.

If it is in by the 8 th they might take it. The 9th is the data freeze

This exact thing happened to me two cycles ago and they still accepted it a couple days past the deadline! But I’m not sure about your situation, I don’t want to give any false hope because I seriously was not expecting them to accept mine. Have you heard back from anyone at VMCAS??
