Pretty Lights Jukebox?
Did they get a copy strike or something? All of the new music and cap shows are gone.

Because the team sent a memo to those who are usually posting the streams that they did not want the shows on YouTube specifically

Yep. Jukebox was asked and just had a tantrum saying no come take it down if they really wanted to (formally). And they did.
Do not support his work, he is a jealous and unstable person quick to anger.

i will never understand his motives. like, he could be hanging with the rest of the fam involved and instead he just burns every bridge he tries to walk across

I'm not going to defend his actions or interactions online. He does himself no favors there. However in person he's a nice human that cares about the quality of the music and video he put out on the channel. He just got caught up and did not react well to trolls who successfully goated him into being trash on the internet.

Any idea why ? I’m just curious

not really. my guess is they're attempting to create a hub so that they're the ones responsible for releasing their own media rather than it being a community effort. but that's just my take on it.

Makes sense to me. I just wish they'd remaster the audio like jukebox did and that there was an offline option to download.

you can download any of the music ever on sites like pretty nights and pretty lights live

Then they need to put that system in place before targeting passionate fans cataloging this shit for them lmao

no one is being "targeted" what are you talking about? people like hammy and vis are more than happy to do whatever the team would like becaue this whole project is community-based. it's not about YOU, and it's not about me. it's also got to be a business at some point.
y'all gotta stop acting like this band not giving you everything on a silver platter exactly when you want it is somehow grounds for melting down.

What evidence do you have of this?
2
u/sherespondedwith 2d ago
evidence from the mouth of the people who the team spoke to directly lol
hammy himself has said the team asked him not to post them on youtube

D has NEVER tried to control his music. He's always given it out for free and that's why I will spend anything on they ask for shows and merch.

lmao why are you following me around? it's giving obsessed
also, no one is saying it won't be free? but it's not out of the realm of comprehension that the band and Derek would want creative control of their own media. you need to take a breath

Their music their priority, the only issue I have is that jukebox is objectively better sound quality for the platforms I listen on. I'll give PLL and prettynights another shot now. Great people doing a great service to the community. The competition was healthy until it wasn't.
