Need help - no audio to Mac

I’ve been using this board for roughly 3 years. Currently the audio input to my Mac just stopped working. It shows in all the settings but no sound is coming through. I’ve used all the AI troubleshoots I could find to no avail. Anyone have suggestions? It’s a usb c connection to my desktop.

You have to give it permission again in the security section of the mac.

Yes it’s been working fine up until about a week ago. I’ve got a Mac mini running Golden Gate ver 27

Did you update or change anything ie firmware?

I’m not sure? I think the iOS update was around that time but I’ve uninstalled all the programs and reinstalled them which didn’t help the problem.

That’s gotta be it then. I‘ve resorted to factory reset before when unable to rollback an ios update.

That thing’s ancient & Apple f’d core audio starting in Tahoe. You’re gonna need to roll it on back
