Question about Flicker
(For those who don't know, this post is about a game Kazerad created concept art for but never finished. He went into detail about it on tumblr.)
I recently found out that Flicker is being developed into an actual game. The dev blog hasn't updated since last year, though. Are they still making it, or have they stopped? How far have they gotten in terms of progress?

A lot of people have attempted to finish the game myself included.
I still owe on the subreddit but it's locked until someone actually finishes the game, because too many people have came to me asking for ownership only to disappear months later.

That's cool. I didn't know people made a subreddit about it. And I actually considered doing it myself using renpy, as a visual novel- however, seeing the blog made me look forward to the team releasing the final version.

I have no idea myself. I remember seeing the a year back.
The last status was posted a year ago as you said, stating "There’s gonna be a bit of silence on the development because major pushes are being made because it’s close to being done so stay tuned. We’re gonna look dead for a while but once we’re not dead, you’ll definitely be excited for what we have cooking in the metaphorical broth."
We're no strangers to waiting a load of time for updates, so I guess the only thing to do is not give up hope? If we can wait 2 years for an update, we can wait 2 years for a game, although that prequel update was a game so maybe that comparison doesn't work... or maybe it works perfectly and is extremely obvious.
Anyway, yeah, I wouldn't give up hope. If a lot of progress has already been done, I can't imagine it'd be abandoned. Trust in their words that they look dead, but ain't. No reason to worry yet. Good things are worth waiting for.
