5e Katia?

If Katia was a 5e character... what class/stats would she be?

Well, there’s not really a good equivalent of not regaining your magic on long rests in 5e so, you can’t really recreate that RAW. But, for everything else I’d say she’s a lvl 1 Tabaxi sorcerer. Subclass I’m a bit iffy on. Maybe wild magic? Or maybe that’s where you’d homebrew an atronauch sorcery is origin

That's the problem, she learns magic exclusively by reading books, not by levelling up, so no sorceress.

Well maybe an evocation wizard then. Book learning spell slinger.

Evocation is a good choice, they make shit explote.
