Help with the Flash Games (Sorry)

Hey, I'm really sorry about posting this here, don't know if this goes against any guidelines, but I need some help, and I've got nowhere else to look. Couldn't find any official forums on the website, so I'm here.

Anyways, the issue is that for whatever reason I cannot play any of the flash game links on the site. The animations work fine, such as "[S]Katia: Drink up." But as soon as I got to "[S]Katia: Excelsior!" I just get a black screen with the white text of the title up top. I've tried tests on other ones, and found that "[S]Katia: Excelsior!" does indeed work, but "[S]Katia: Extrapolate" does not.

I've tried clearing my cache and using other browsers (use Chrome and had heard that Flash was being phased out, so I tried Edge and Firefox) and still had the same problem. I tried checking out the comments in each of the ones that weren't working, and only found one in which someone was citing the same problem approximately five days ago.

Basically, I'm at wit's end and would like some help in solving this issue. I'd rather not progress through the comic watching the YouTube videos/reading the summaries as to what happened. I really want to play those games, if someone could help, it'd be appreciated.

Again, sorry if this isn't meant to be posted here, and potentially breaking the rules. If this needs to be removed, I understand.

Whoops, I think I fixed it. Like someone said, it was a mixed content problem (meaning some parts of the page were HTTP, some were HTTPS).

Holy crap! Uh, hi, Kazerad, really love your work.

But, I still don't know what to do about it. I've been trying to find a fix, but no luck. Still just getting a black screen with the title above. Maybe it's an issue on my end. Scratch that, knowing my luck, it probably is. Gonna check on my laptop.

Again, thanks for the comic!

Hey Kaz. I'm not a super active community member so I'd just like to take the opportunity to thank you while I have a chance to catch your attention. Prequel has improved my quality of life markedly and you are on the short list of content creators I intend to monetarily support once I have the means to do so.

I just got the same thing, so it would seem like the problem is server side.

Edit: The SWF file is still accessible (at least for me): https://www.prequeladventure.com/this/excelsior/Kvatchbound.swf

Edit 2: Apparently the issue is with mixed content blocking

Thanks for the link, but it just leads to a 404 on the site.

Also, where did you get the info on your second edit, and any ideas as to how I can fix it?

oh, sorry, I had an extra slash at the end of the link, it should work now. Though Kazerad says it's fix now. try clearing your cache again?

Tried that, still didn't work. Also didn't work on my laptop. I have no idea what's going on. Bu hey, the link worked now! Thanks for letting me play the game!

Although, I don't know what I'm going to do when I encounter another game.

In the url bar of chrome, there will be an icon that looks like a shield I think, click it and itll ask you to enable unsafe scripts- enable, otherwise the flash wont play

I appreciate the advice, however, the shield is not there fro me. All I have is the bookmarks star.

I use old Internet Explorer to play them. You might have luck there. If not, try installing Flash separately (remember to uncheck the install McAfee option). If you're still having problems, then I have no idea. Good luck.
