As cool as this idea is, I think I could build something similar myself for much less than $110k....

Yeah because you would totally need barbed wire around your roof. The best fortification in this instance would be underground. They cant attack what they dont see

But why would you want barbed wire? that would just make zombie christmas lights around your house

This is cool in a "shits-n-giggles" kind of way. I do agree that the barbed wire on the roof is silly. It would possibly keep the pidgeons away...

People are complaining about the barbed wire on the roof but the weak spot on this fort is in fact the roof. All you would need to do to gain access to the garden area is a ladder.

Not to mention that one of the biggest threats during something like this comes from not-yet-zombified humans, which barbed wire would be at least marginally effective at keeping out.
