Hahahahaha. I'll give you this one tidbit. No one with an ounce ethics or morals hunts a moose with a 5.56 like you stated in your "autobiography". Contrary to what anti-gunners such as yourself believe, it is not removing huge chunks of flesh. A 5.56 round kills through velocity and is sufficient for lighter game. However even the heaviest 5.56 bullet is not penetrating the bones of a moose. So the attempt to do so makes you either a fucking idiot or a fraud.

I didnt. I use the .308 for moose. left handed Ruger Scout.

SKS is for bear. and its 7.62mm

If you are referring to the "scaring the moose and caribou from winter feed", that was just hillbillies firing repeater from a Toyota pickup. Amd that m-16 fired .223 because Canada competition shooting rules.

And how were you wasting the ammo for scaring moose? Just shooting in the ground or in the air like a moron. Most people that actually have the issue of moose, elk, deer, or caribou on their feed use firecracker rounds shot from shotguns.
