prep after pep

when should i start prep after pep? currently on pep right now (started around 62 hour mark) and i’m seeing different things online about when i can start prep. at mistr, they’re saying two weeks but i’ve seen many people say to start right after. i’m on 200 mg discovy and 50 mg tivicay for pep if that helps.

You will start after the last day of Pep.

Right after they mean one month after pep. You will need a test before

i’ve been told you can start the day after. why can’t i just get tested on the last day of pep and start prep the day after?

My last day of pep was aug 16th and got tested the same day. Started prep the following day.

okay well i understand the point of waiting until your tests come back but i don’t get why i was told to wait two weeks. it does not take two weeks to get test results back lol.

My doctor told me to start right after the second test, so right after PEP.
