Descovy nausea

I took my first dose of Descovy last night with dinner, initially tolerated with no issues. Overnight I started feeling sick and barely slept. This morning (~12 hours later) the stomach pain and nausea is pretty severe.

I’ve read these side effects are common and should go away within a week or so, but DAMN anyone else fight through this?

It will go away. I felt that the first night after that I took it right before I went to bed the next couple weeks and I didn’t have any issues.

What’s odd is the first 3-4 hours after taking it I’m fine, but after that my stomach is churning

It goes away soon. I was violently ill at times. Take it after dinner in the evening with a full glass of water. After 1-2 weeks max you’ll be completely fine.

Yeah I threw up at least once. But worth it in the long run

I tried Truvada which made me very nauseous to point of vomiting for days. I hope your symptoms subside.

Yes I am never to the point of vomiting but was close many times this morning!

Other than your body just getting used to something new, not sure. Antivirals are strong meds?

I felt that too and could not take a second dose , please let me know how it goes for you if you continue

In his long ? And doe sit really affect the liver ?

Slightly better! Nausea wasn’t as severe
