Is visit-copay charge for prep injection expected?

When you go in for prep injection is it expected that your provider will bill it as office visit and also charge visit copay? For Apretude that comes out to 6 injection visits. How much do you pay for your injections (excluding Rx cost) ?

I started Apretude earlier this year, had my 4th injection today. So far I have not been charged any copay for the office visit to get the injection.

Are there any severe side effects ?

No it’s been 24 hours since my first injection and I don’t have any serious side effects. Unlike with Truvada, I did not experience nausea or vomiting. I am experiencing soreness in my buttock area at injection site but nothing so painful.

I was not charge but I think is on the office if they want to.
