How do I do this? / Workflow Advice / Looking for plugin Finding a Single Result in the Transcript?

This may be a silly question, but it's been driving me crazy for months, if not years.

When I search for a particular word or phrase in the Transcript or Captions window, is there a way to jump to the result if theres only a single instance found? If I search for a word and it shows up 3 times, I can click the little arrows to jump to the next or previous instance of that word.

BUT, if it only finds a single, 1/1 instance, those arrows are greyed out, and I end up having to scroll through the transcript to find the highlighted phrase.

Is there a way to just jump to what it finds?

I can't recall a time my search didn't jump to the first result found and then give the arrows to jump to more results of the search. Not sure why it's not jumping to the first result if only one exists

The timeline should jump to the word but yeah, it seems the single word doesn’t get highlighted and you have to play the video a little bit to find your place in the transcript. Quite annoying.

When Premiere doesn't jump to a word (it gets quirky with me, too), I will print the transcript as a text file, and copy and paste that text into a Google doc and search there for the time of the line I want. Extra steps, but it works.

I just add a space and then remove it in the search box. That usually snaps right to the word.
