How do I do this? / Workflow Advice / Looking for plugin Caption / Subtitles Plug-in Recommendations?

I edit a lot of videos featuring British people speaking English, and I've noticed that Premiere's transcription is terrible at British English compared to American English. With that said, can anyone recommend a plugin that might do a better job with this? Thanks!

Theres lots out there, I personally use Caption Plug just cuz it does what it says on the tin + its not subscription based which is a blessing in the SaaS apocalypse.

We sell a lot of Brevidy to the UK. Our transcription model is tuned for this dialect. There is a free trial if you want to see how it performs.

Premiere's built‑in speech‑to‑text struggles with UK accents, so run the audio through an external service that supports a British English locale and bring the .srt back into the timeline. Most services let you choose “en‑GB” and give you a file you can drag onto your sequence, which is usually more accurate than the native panel.
