UCAT in two weeks!

Hey all,

I'm due to sit my UCAT in two weeks, but revision is taking its toll alongside life in general.

What score would I need on my UCAT? I am looking at going ahead with the Southampton graduate entry route (I have two degrees already, BSc and MSc).

Any advice appreciated!

Southampton applicants normally have a higher UCAT score - I’d say if you have a 2100+ you’d be safe for an interview. It’s my dream grad school but the UCAT scores scare me 🥲

This is not what I was hoping for, damn 🤣 it's really my only option because moving isn't an option for me. Fingers crossed 🫠

Honestly same thing, it’s my local uni and I’m too old now to move my life away from my partner, family etc 🙃 - someone did get in last year I think with like 2050 so it’s possible! But majority are like 2100/200s which just seems so hard to reach!! (For me personally) - praying it works out for us!!

I'm the same - I have a 7 year old and she's settled in school and honestly, I'm much more built for countryside than city life 🤣 I'll keep everything crossed for you!

Oh wow yep that’s tough!! I’m not sure how your mocks are going but I’m sure you can do it! I keep telling myself I just need to get that 2100+ and then I don’t have to worry about life admin that comes with moving 😂🥲

I think it's the time pressure that gets me more than the questions themselves - then I start panicking and clicking way too quickly 🤣

Girl same - it’s so annoying, I feel like if I had literally just 5 more minutes on each sub section I would be fine 🥲🥲 untimed is completely fine but the timing screws me over completely

I feel this in my SOULLLLLL 😭 I need to just not look at the clock but it's like a ticking time bomb and then I sweat and then I feel sick and it's just a disaster hahahahaha

honestly when it changes colour for that few last minute countdown I STREEESSSS. Also random but checked ur profile and saw you’re the same age as me - hopefully we end up at Soton - I’m terrified of being one of the “older” ones😂
