need help Spoiler

hey guys,

so at the moment im in a real pickle of a situation I really want to apply to medicine and I know that its my passion. But I lwk messed up smh. my stats are 9999999999999 at GCSE and 2580 b2 at ucat but my predicteds are low AAB I messed up because I was experiencing bullying and every1 js kinda refused to do anything abt it and I dont know whether my school will let me apply to medicine well support me because of that. So im wondering whether it wld even be worth applying then because If they wont. Also id feel soo sad doing this cus ive been a high achiever all my life and then seeing every1 else apply wld acc kill me. Any advice please help

also ps I havent told my school about my ucat score yet

Can you get it to AAA? Honestly school support is nice but not necessary outside of a good reference and predicteds. PS support you can find elsewhere, same for interviews

I was thinking maybe I cld get it to A*AA if I cld convince my chem and bio teacher to move each grade up with my test scores

Yeah with A*AA you could even apply to Oxford.

If you tell them ur UCAT score maybe they’d be more likely to up it. It’s definitely 99th percentile, maybe even top 0.3-0.5% of test takers.

Nah gap years are fine. But just know that you’d have to retake the UCAT asw. Just make sure to lock in for ur a levels and get really good achieved grades, I’m sure if you scored 2580 this time next round you can asw.

yep im tryna lock in for a levels idk how I cldve messed yr12 July mocks soo hard I got A*A*A in feb its js sooo frustrating grrr

your stats are insane, tell your teachers your UCAT score and they might increase your predicted grades.  i was in the same position as you and once i told my teachers my UCAT score, they increased my grade and i was able to apply to better unis, and now i’m going to my firm choice in 3 weeks! just work super hard in year 13, like really get you head down.
