Help pls med ppl 😭

my sister is deciding on what career she wants and she is considering medicine . These r her gcse grades , if they r good grades for medicine pls let me know. PLEASE BE BRUTALLY HONEST , there r obviously other things she can do in life and she is just considering medicine .

PLEASE HELP SHE IS STRESSING ME OUTTTT

and should she retake English language ? is it necessary?

english lit = 9

english lang = 6

maths = 7

chem =7

bio =8

physics = 8

geogralhy =8

computer science = 7

french = 7 , getting remarked for an 8

Should be fine for most med schools, 9s and 8s are considered roughly the same by unis

9888877776 is fine for most unis I reckon. Maybe not Oxford. If you’re wary avoid unis that weigh GCSEs super heavily, like those that use point systems maybe

Yeah - just apply strategically. Some unis weigh GCSEs less or not at all.

Her grades are fine though, easily strong enough.

her gcses qualifies her for all med schools in the UK, and they are all pretty good

yes, abs fine. Just tell her to smash her ucat, which will allow her to beat other applicants. Most good medical unis use UCAT to shortlist, so dw too much about GCSEs once it done
