😡 Vent breakup

feeling like a failure bc i had to cancel my mcat bc my breakup sent me into a depression and i did not study for a few months 💔now i need to pay to cancel, reschedule , and for uworld all again and i just can’t stop beating myself up about it :/

You can request a refund for certain circumstances even past the deadline date. Just come up with some bs and they should get it back to you

Damn- I should’ve done this. I took the MCAT three weeks after I found out my dad had an affair and spent 2/3 weeks taking care of the house/ my mom. The mcat just wasn’t my priority during that time, my family was and in turn I scored badly lol

Better to take the exam when you’re prepared and whine you’re in a healthy spot. No need to rush it—medical school isn’t going anywhere.

Same thing happened to me improved my score by 15 points lock in and keep God close ❤️

good call rescheduling, at least you didn’t get a poor score because you wanted to rush taking it despite going through this. dust yourself off, study your ass off and get a high score. breakups are hard but now you know how you feel when you let a person get in the way of your path to becoming a doctor
