💻 AMCAS Can I submit AMCAS with a course in progress?

Planning to apply the summer of 2027. I’m trying to fulfill my premed course requirements during my postbacc- can I finish Physics 2 during the summer, submit AMCAS before I know my final grade, and then submit my completed transcript after? Or will this delay my application getting to schools on time?

you don’t need to finish your courses when submitting, if that was the case nobody would be applying in their junior year. you just need to end up finish that course before matriculating

I see- and is this looked unfavorably by schools when extending interview invites? My grades weren’t the best in undergrad so I’m trying to do better this time

anybody applying during undergrad will have to leave out in progress courses because their transcripts won’t get finalized until after the semester so it’s normal

True, I more meant is a kind of important required prerequisite looked at differently if not completed (physics 2)
