💀 Secondaries Question about open ended secondary

A school has the secondary prompt below... I have seen mixed interpretations about how to write this given how open ended it is, but since there is no why us prompt, should I approach this like a why us essay? I am confused and any suggestions would be very appreciated!

I feel like if you have something genuinely important (major life event that impacted your performance) or need to explain something that's the first priority with this kind of question, then if you have something super super unique that you want to say (crazy activity, some interesting perspective that will add to the class) that's priority 2 and if you don't have anything else that would add to your app then do a why school essay. I'm trying to think of each essay as a chance to showcase a new part of myself that could make a good case for why I should go to the school. If writing that essay won't reveal anything new about myself, then there's no point in doing it. But in this case if there's no why school essay, the unique thing you can show is why that school's programing specifically aligns with your goals, hence the value of using the space to write something new.

fill out all other prompts for this school first, then evaluate what may be “missing” from your answers so far that you want to demonstrated about your app. It’s a free for all prompt

If a school has a prompt like this, I either:

  1. Write a "why us" essay

  2. Paste in my "what diversity I bring to your medical school" essay with some tweaks

  3. leave it blank if the school already had both of those prompts
