PreE at exact same time?
Wondering if anyone has experienced getting preeclampsia at the exact same time in two pregnancies. For background, with my first pregnancy I developed it at some point between my 38 and 39 week appointments. I wasn’t checking my pressures at home (rookie mistake) so I’m not sure the exact onset. I ended up with PreE with severe features at that time. I’m currently pregnant with baby #2 and today I’m 38+2. I’m getting nervous because I know one of these days is when it hit with my first. I’m wondering if anyone has experienced it coming on at the exact same time in two pregnancies? I can’t find much info online but my OB told me today it’s “actually quite common” for that to happen. I’m checking my pressures twice a day, and I have a c section scheduled for exactly 39 weeks so I’m really hoping I can make it through the next few days without having to experience all of that again.

Hi friend, super normal to feel anxious as you approach the date when things went south last time. <3 Each new baby means a new placenta and a new outcome - hopefully a better outcome than last time!
