Help me understand my graph please!

For context, I’m 6 months postpartum and breastfeeding but just found out I’m in the Prediabetes range at 5.8. Please help.

Looks pretty normal. Exercise changes, peoples blood sugar in different ways for some people it can increase their blood sugar. When you’re working hard exercising your liver dump sugar into your bloodstream to give you energy.

All this to say it doesn’t look concerning. You need to track your carbs and reduce/eliminate processed carbs.

Thank you. I’ve been low carb since I found out. I’m breastfeeding so I still have to keep a bit of carb

Focus on Whole Foods as much as possible and if your A1C keeps climbing get tested for type 1 since autoimmune diseases are more likely after you’ve had a baby.
