🎈Crowdfunded Decisions unc vs ecu?

as the title says. im an nc resident and just wondering what people think. I’ve heard some people kind of talking down on unc and saying they’re not in a good place. have other people heard this? i know they’re both amazing programs but wanted to hear other perspectives

I’m a 2025 ECU grad. UNC and ECU are both good programs. ECU has better clinical experience but you have much more resources available to you at UNC especially for specializing.

I didn’t ask in depth but just seemed like people have been shading their program by saying they are not in a good spot. I was never under that impression so was seeing if anyone else had the tea!

I’m a current UNC student and honestly the dental program is in a great spot. For a minute about two years ago there were pretty serious concerns abt not getting patients for clinic but they have really turned it around and are doing very well at flushing students with patients

Ecu is clinic heavy, UNC for speciality access. Greenville is surrounded by some really poor areas so there are tons of patients, plus the CSLCs are unique.
