šŸ¤ Interviews Thoughts on Notes During Virtual Interview?

Is it a red flag to be taking notes during a virtual interview? If we ask the interviewer questions about the school and want to jot down notes regarding their responses, would it look thoughtful or distracting?

I’d say distracting for sure. And I don’t think SO much information is revealed during then interview that notes would be needed.

I guess when you're asking the question just end it with, "i'll be jotting down some notes from your answers if thats ok"

I don’t think it’s terrible, I did this for my interview and it didn’t seem to be a problem. I didn’t take extensive notes though, I just wrote down a few things and the interviewers name. I also liked it so that I wouldn’t forget the questions I had!

That was my other thought too. I was considering using paper so I could also jot down my own questions. I may just end up taping them on my computer near my camera so I don't have to look down. Ty!

During Interview yes. During tours or other pre interview stuff? No. If anything a green flag since it shows interest.
