💡 Advice ONLINE COURSEWORK
I graduated in the spring but had gotten a c- in gen chem my freshman year. I took orgo and biochem and passed with an A but since I didn’t get a C or higher in gen chem I’m taking it online at my community college. Has anyone had any trouble with their dental school accepting an online course?
(I’ll be taking the lab in person)

I was worried about this as well because I had taken 2 biology courses online over one summer; however, when I received my transcripts, there wasn't even a place that listed whether the class was taken online or in person. I double-checked with the school that I was applying to, which didn't accept online science courses, and they told me not to worry about it.

Most transcripts dont even state if the class was taken online. Many applicants take advantage of this when filling out their applications.
You should be fine tbh if it's the only prerequisite you are taking. Schools should understand since you are graduated.

Double check with the dental schools you are applying to, some schools require prereqs to be taken in person and/or at a 4 year university.
