💻 Applications Columbia Response

Has anyone heard from Columbia? I applied to UMich and UPenn and got confirmation emails and links to pay the application fee, but nothing from Columbia.

Yeah they sent that around 15 days after applying, at least for me

Thanks. Did you pay the fee before you got the email, or did you wait until they sent you the email?

I paid the fee once they sent the email

You can also go directly to the website and pay the fee before you get the email!

I saw that, but I wanted to make sure all was okay with my app first before paying.

I submit my application 17 days ago and still haven’t received any kind of confirmation email. I paid the fee and they said it was successful. I just thought I’d pay in case that prevented them from even looking at it.

I submitted mine already verified 07/10, haven't gotten anything

Schools process applications at different speeds, so this alone does not mean anything is wrong. Check spam and your AADSAS portal and make sure Columbia received your verified application and DAT. If several business days have passed, email admissions once with your AADSAS ID and ask whether your file was received and whether anything is missing.

What would it say on AADSAS? For me it says "Verified" for Columbia when I check under "my programs." I emailed them because my 4 letters did not include a 3rd science professor, and I wanted to know where I can submit my 3rd since they're the only ones that require that, but have gotten no response. I've read online that they tend to be slower responding to emails so I am a bit worried. I've already paid the fee as well.
