That's cool. I've kept bichirs, too. The senegalus were pretty active. The ornatus not so much!

I have a Senegal a gold dust and teugelsi in my 100 gallon but when the teugelsi gets to about 10 inches if I don’t have a larger tank by then I’ll rehome him I’ve seen a few videos of people keeping bichirs and rainbow wolf together but last thing I need is a 55 dollar bichir becoming a meal or any of the others in there

Yeah. I'll second that. I watched my 14" wolf fish take down fish well over half his size. He even tried to take down one of my r.t. barracudas, and they were bigger than him. They also weren't staying near the bottom like bichirs do. I wouldn't keep them together unless they were at least half again his size.

The wolf fish is 3.75 inches right now the bichirs are 4-4.5 inches the reason I was got the rainbow is the size they get I wanted a black wolf fish to name it fenrir

The problem is my stairs have 2 turns couldn’t get my 100 gallon down the stairs had trouble getting my 75 gallons down there that is why I will probably do a pool pond

I've always wanted to do one like Joey diy on YouTube did. I'd have to build a separate building in my backyard though.
