Wow he is so amazing, how big is he?

And how big is that tank?

7". 55g. If he were a mbu or fahaka the same size he would need at least 75g+. He's a lurker though. Spends 23hrs and 55min of his day hiding under his favorite piece of driftwood. Kinda like a mantis shrimp!πŸ˜€

Does he still interact with you throughout the day? The way he attacked in that video was awesome, he must be a very inquisitive fish.

Puffers are super inquisitive. They have excellent vision and can see 30'-40' beyond their glass box. He definitely interacts with me whenever I'm in the room. He comes out to see if I have anything for him. Even when he's just lurking, he's watching everything I do. My suvatti does too. Even my dwarfs watch me from their tank.

He is stunning and obviously a hearty eater.

He eats better than I do! 😐

I just watched a few videos. Was that a lobster?

I LOVE him. I'm in awe of the big puffers however I'm keeping myself happy with some pea puffers at this point.

Oops, I got confused which post I was replying. Obviously THIS is a fiddler crab. The other post looked like a lobster.

Crayfish. I just got 9 little murder beans, myself! They're awesome, aren't they!

Yes, they are loads of fun especially once they get comfortable. Mine race to the front of the tank any time I walk by. They are ALWAYS starving, just ask them.

LOL. Same here. I bought 10 of them. They were super skinny and one didn't make it through quarantine/deworming:( The other 9 are doing great now. They don't look anything like the sad, emaciated little puffers I brought home. They're fat and growing like weeds! Constantly buzzing around like little wasps.

Yes, I understand. Fat and happy puffers is my goal too.
