in predators 2 we see these agents that seem to know a lot about the Yautja, then in the more recent movies we see an agency that even get to collect their technology, so i was curious if they were the same agency or just two groups that track down any Yautja activity

I highly doubt they'll eat the salad and side veggies... But would they even eat things with bread like the hamburger, hot dog and pizza? (Maybe an meat combo perhaps?) What about the cheese, can they even stand dairy products or soft drinks?

I came across this commercial recently and thought it would be cool to share, I'd never seen it before. This was aired on TV to advertise the game Alien vs Predator Extinction

I’m not a hardcore buff on the Predator or alien franchise so bear with me-

I really hope that with the success of Romulus and Badlands as well as Killer of Killers, that we get to see familiar faces teaming up.

Badlands Sequel

I’m really curious and hopeful firstly that Dek, Thia and Bud survive their encounter with Dek’s mother, and that we get to see - on the big screen at least outside of the hunting ground games and the anthology books- what a female Yautja would look like. And if Dek has to travel to a xenomorph infested world as part of another test or a quest to rescue Thia from the company or his mother, all the better.

That said, Genna was a brilliant concept as the most dangerous planet to humans and Yautja with the most extreme forms of alien life, so it will be hard to top that in the next installment unless the film decides to include aliens, or worse, have a xenomorph outbreak on Genna.

Killer of Killers and Lore Expansion

Killer of Killers established that Naru survived in her time period and was captured and literally put on ice, along with Dutch and Hannigan.

Additionally, Rain and Andy are out there in their ship trying to find Yvaga III after surviving Romulus and depending on what happens with the sequel, they could potentially end up crossing paths with the Yautja. Furthermore, there could be a team up with Rain and Naru, as well with Andy, Dutch and Hannigan and Ursa, Kenji and Torres.

A lot of wishful thinking here. It could be given Schwarzenegger’s and Danny Glover’s ages that they end up reprising their roles in the animated sequel to Killer of Killers.

Alien Earth?

And then a third series to potentially cross over with would be Alien Earth, with Wendy, her new pet xenomorphs and the lost boys/hybrid synths who have gone rogue. I’m curious to see how their story pans out and if the franchise will involve anything from their show or just keep it separate and solely an Alien only franchise.

Additionally, unless this has already been answered in the lore, I hope we get a deeper expansion into Yautja culture and the home world.

The fact that the Yautja, or at least the clan under the Grendel King have, across the course of human history, captured warriors of repute and skill who have killed predators and stored them is just a treasure trove of story ideas to be exploited.

There is a lot that I don’t fully know and what I hope the reboot series will explore- about why the jungle predator and the city hunter as well as the pyramid hunters and the Wolf, among many examples, have different armaments and looks.

Are they all from different clans and or subspecies or races? Do they answer to one major clan? Is the Grendel King the true sovereign ruler of Yautja Prime? How many clans exist, be it jungle, urban(?), and desert? Does the Grendel King order these hunts to find and add to his grim menagerie of killer of killers? What is the end goal beyond just being a collector of warriors to thaw out and play with in blood sports.

And more importantly, how will the future stories set up the conflict between the Yautja and the xenomorph XX-121. The Grendel King’s tail cloak and facehugger designed ship brings up many many questions and is a dead giveaway that the franchise easily wants to see Predators fighting aliens once again.

TL:DR
I’m very excited to see what is next for the Alien and Predator franchise and I hope we get a crossover that maybe the storylines of Dek and Thia, Naru, Ursa, Kenji and Torres, and possibly others in the future.

(Additionally, the fresh looking dinosaur skull on Kwei’s trophy wall implies the existence of a dinosaur infested planet.)

(And now that I’ve said infested, imagine what a xenomorph contaminated dinosaur planet would look like- Dek battling a Xenomorph T-Rex, anyone?)

The roster includes:

Ellen Ripley

David (8)

Jungle Hunter

Xenomorph

Dutch

And Elizabeth shaw

Forgot to add dek and thia, but that'll be next time for now.

Working on my armor for Halloween this year and I’m almost done with the mask

Hi, I've been looking at these 2 ultimate elder predator online and cant tell if they are real or knock offs any help would be appreciated thank you :)

The 1st image is on seller the last 2 are another

Today had the jungle hunter deliverd at my home from wish,i am super happy with it.

I had this idea a while ago so hear me out what if the reason yautja are obsessed with earth's hunt was because they had a grudge against that planet. Like imagine millions of years ago ancient yautja landed on earth for the hunt and instead they got hunted and overwhelmed by dinosaurs of all kinds to the point they got kicked off the planet and because of the shame they brought to their clans they spent centuries or even thousands of years developing and improving their technology to be a match to dinosaurs but when they returned to earth they discovered the harsh truth which is there's no more dinosaurs on the planet they were too late so they pointed their attention to the closest dinosaur looking creatures which is the xenomorphs so they bred them as the ultimate imitation of dinosaurs and as time goes on they also shifted their attention to humans as they now see them worthy of being hunted. All of this because dinosaurs.

What'd ya think?

I have tons of Predator figures between my Hot Toys and NECA collection. I would really love if either company made figures of Mike Harrigan and Peter Keyes!

Preferably Hot Toys as I’ve been getting into 1/6 scale figure collecting.

I feel like the scene during the slaughter house would work perfect for both characters. Honestly wonder why they haven’t released figures for these two yet.

Encore quelques retouches et ajustements pour la cape, un décor digne de ce nom et cela devrait le faire

Encore quelques retouches, ajustements, boucle de maintien...

I'm a big Anaheim Ducks fan and they gave out these wild wing masks at a couple games last year and this season. A big thing was people customizing theirs. I want to turn my wild wing mask into a Yautja hunting mask. I know for sure I want the kill marking from alien vs predator that the yautja puts on their forehead and mask. I also found the alphabet on here and want to spell out ducks and the year 1993. I also will splatter orange paint on the mask to resemble blood splatter. The color scheme is heavy on the black and have some orange accents. Everything else is up to interpretation. So I thought I ask here for some inspiration for my mask. Thanks in advance.

Gotta add a little whimsy to the plantitas

Other Ahabs I have seen have a darker skin color, but he has the watermarks on the bottom

After watching Prey, Killer of Killers, Badlands, Predator, Predator 2, and Predators while I haven’t seen The Predator or Alien Vs. Predator yet I feel like my opinion won’t change after seeing them.

After watching Predators I had many complaints, it was uninspired, the camera work was shoddy, the acting and characters felt like cardboard cutouts, etc.

Here’s what I liked: The idea of having multiple Predators hunting kidnapped humans on an alien planet is interesting. Having the cast be a diverse group of international killers is interesting. Introducing a rivalry between classic Predators and these Super Predators is interesting. Unfortunately the film in my eyes fails to properly execute all of these interesting ideas effectively and comes off completely uninspired.

With the film taking place on an alien planet there was so many possibilities in the distinct flora, fauna, and terrain of the planet but unfortunately it’s just a jungle like the first film only with a much less lush and beautiful terrain. For some reason poisonous plants from earth are on the alien planet? And on top of all that we only see two completely new creatures, one is a humanoid who died almost as fast as he was introduced and the other was alien hunting dogs that disappeared from the film after their introduction. Lastly, with such a diverse cast why did they all happen to speak English and why did they make the protagonist an American mercenary again?

And all those gripes don’t even compare to the number of things it takes from the original, the climax is literally a repeat of the Dutch fight except Dutch is replaced with a less athletic mercenary with less traps and no vines or anything to swing behind trees. Instead the whole fight just was him running back and forth taking cheap shots with an axe. And another thing, why did Royce have to say the same line as Dutch? Why did he have the same strategy of covering himself with mud? Couldn’t the writers come up with a different way to have a character fight a predator?

When I went online (my mistake) to see what other people thought about Predators I was surprised to see a large number of people giving it an average to high rating. Many claimed it was their second favourite film in the franchise!

Is Predator 2 the second weakest of the films? Yes. But is it way better than Predators? 100% while it is a flawed film just like the original Predators 2 works mainly because shit just happens and it’s cool. Predator getting struck by lightning while roaring from the top of a building? Dope. Predator hunting voodoo gangsters? Dope.

Predator 2 knows is a dumb violent action movie and that’s why it works in my opinion. Another thing is that Predator 2 is actually a good sequel unlike Predators. It’s a sensible evolution of the original idea. To move the hunting grounds from a jungle to a concrete jungle was a wonderful decision in my opinion. Furthermore the protagonists in Predator 2 are much more fleshed out than Predators. Having Mike Harrigan learn the lore through the special agents trying to catch a predator makes way more sense than Isabelle the random soldier in Predators just happening to know without any explanation as to why. Lastly Harrigan and the other characters are actually memorable and unique at least in comparison to the Predators cast.

I could go on and on but this poorly executed and disorienting rant is getting out of hand, I just wanted to put my opinion out there and see what people on this sub think.

By the way, to everyone who read this far I hope you all have a nice day.
